Our achievements
Among the administrative functions of Bangladesh, one of the offices of upazila level and the office of the Upazila Project Implementation Officer is a notable office. In 1971, after the country's independence in 1973-74 relief department was started at the Circle Officer's office. Gradually its activities continued to grow. At present, there are offices of Upazila Project Implementation Officer in all upazilas of Bangladesh. In addition, there are offices of the Project Implementing Officer in the City Corporation area circle office. The Upazila Project Implementation Office is under the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief of the Government of Bangladesh. The office is managed by the Directorate of Disaster Management. Deputy Commissioners and Upazila Nirbahi Officer are supervised with the implementation of the program. Apart from this, District Improvement Rehabilitation Officer's office is located at district level for direct supervision of Upazila Project Implementing Officer.
